Health Apps LLC, operating as Digital Health Systems (“Digital Health Systems,” “we,” “us,” “our”), values your privacy. Digital Health Systems is a Denovo Studios company. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you visit our website, contact us, or use our services.

If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use our website or submit information to us.

1. Information We Collect

A. Information you provide to us

We may collect information you provide directly, such as:

  • Project-related details you share during discovery calls or proposals
  • Billing or payment information (typically processed by third-party payment providers)
  • Recruiting information (if you apply for a role), such as resume or CV and work history

B. Information we collect automatically

When you visit our website, we may automatically collect:

  • Device and browser information (device type, operating system, browser, language)
  • Usage data (pages viewed, time on page, referring and exit pages)
  • Approximate location (derived from IP address)
  • Information from cookies and similar technologies (see Section 6)

C. Information from third parties

We may receive information from third-party services such as:

  • Scheduling tools (for example, appointment details)
  • Analytics providers (for example, website performance and traffic)
  • Payment processors (confirmation of payment status)

2. Health Information

Please do not send us health information about yourself or anyone else through this website, including through our contact form or by email. Our website is not designed to receive protected health information.

When we build or support software for a client that handles health information, that information belongs to our client. We handle it under our written agreement with that client, including a business associate agreement when the work involves protected health information, and not under this Privacy Policy. If you use an app we built for one of our clients, that client’s privacy policy applies to your information in their app.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Respond to inquiries and communicate with you
  • Provide proposals, estimates, and contracted services
  • Schedule and manage meetings
  • Improve our website, services, and user experience
  • Monitor for security issues, fraud, or misuse
  • Maintain business records, accounting, and legal compliance
  • Send updates or marketing communications (you can opt out at any time)

Depending on your location, we process personal data based on:

  • Consent (for example, marketing emails or certain cookies)
  • Contract (to provide services you request)
  • Legitimate interests (for example, improving our site or preventing fraud)
  • Legal obligations (for example, tax and recordkeeping)

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information with:

  • Service providers that help us operate (for example, hosting, form processing, website analytics, scheduling, email, and customer relationship tools)
  • Denovo Studios, our parent company, which provides the team and systems that support our work
  • Payment processors to process transactions (we generally do not store full payment card details)
  • Professional advisors (legal, accounting) as needed
  • Authorities if required by law or to protect rights and safety
  • A buyer or successor if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale

We only share information as needed to provide services or operate our business.

6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our website uses a small number of cookies and similar tools:

  • Necessary. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that contact form submissions come from a person, not a bot. It runs only on the contact page and does not track you across sites.
  • Analytics. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful, for example pages viewed, how you reached our site, your general location (city or country), and your device and browser type. Google Analytics sets cookies whose names start with _ga. It does not collect what you type in our contact form. We have turned off Google’s advertising features and Google signals, and we do not use analytics data for advertising.

Your choice. If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, Google Analytics stays off unless you allow it. Elsewhere, it is on unless you turn it off. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat that as turning analytics off. You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page. Turning analytics off removes its cookies.

We do not use advertising cookies or sell information collected through cookies.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work as expected. Google explains how it uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

7. Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including:

  • Providing services and support
  • Maintaining business records
  • Complying with legal obligations
  • Resolving disputes and enforcing agreements

Retention periods may vary based on the type of information and applicable requirements.

8. Security

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect information. However, no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your personal information (subject to legal and contractual limits)
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Opt out of marketing communications (using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us)

To make a request, contact us using the information in Section 13.

10. Children’s Privacy

Our website and services are not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age required where you live). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this website.

11. International Visitors

If you access our website from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States (or other locations where our service providers operate). By using our site, you consent to this transfer where permitted by law.

Our website may link to third-party websites or services, such as app stores or review sites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.
