One place for patients to keep track of their cancer care

Curenav

Curenav helps people with cancer keep track of how they feel, what they notice, and what is coming up next. We built the mobile app, fixed problems left in the code by earlier developers, and helped plan what comes next.

What we built
  • Daily check-in with sliders for mood, energy, stress, and anxiety
  • Symptom log with a list of past observations
  • Calendar for appointments and other events
  • Secure sign-in for each patient

The project was a success. Furthermore, they were great for helping us fix bugs that other developers outside of their organization had made and helpful in brainstorming sessions.

Questions clinics ask

Are your apps HIPAA compliant?

We build apps to meet HIPAA's requirements, including role-based access, encryption, audit logs, and a business associate agreement with you. Full compliance also depends on your organization's policies and training, so we work with your compliance lead on both.

Our privacy and security approach

Will you sign a business associate agreement?

Yes. When a project involves protected health information, we sign a business associate agreement before we handle any of it.

Can you connect to our EHR?

Often, yes. We build products integrated with Epic, and we know how EHRs fit into clinic work. What is possible depends on your EHR and what it allows, so we look at the options during the workflow review and tell you plainly.

Can you take over an app another team built?

Yes. We often pick up projects from other developers. We review the code first and tell you plainly what we would keep, fix, or rebuild.
