Three phones showing an essential oil detail page, the category grid, and the notes screen

This app is a reference library of essential oils, with product details, categories, search, and personal notes. We moved it from native code to a cross-platform framework so it ships on both platforms from one codebase.

The problem

What they needed

Information about essential oils is scattered across websites, labels, and product inserts. The client wanted one clean reference that people could browse and search.

The app was built with native code, which meant extra work to support and grow it on more than one platform.

What we built

How the app works

The library is organized into categories such as single oils, blends, usage guides, and charts. Each oil has its own page with an overview, common uses, and safety notes. People can search the library, save oils to a personal list, and write their own notes.

We moved the app to a cross-platform framework, so iOS and Android now share one codebase. The library can keep growing without the two versions drifting apart.

Features

What we delivered

  • Library of oils sorted into categories, with search
  • A page for each oil with overview, uses, and safety tabs
  • A personal "My Oils" list
  • Personal notes
  • One codebase for iOS and Android
